Registration is on BikeReg. Register on BikeReg Know Before You GoJungle Habitat HistoryJungle Habitat is one of the most unique parks in New Jersey with a very cool history. It was a Warner Brothers safari park in the 1970s that closed down in 1976\, and the land was left untouched for three decades. In 2007 New Jersey approved a volunteer-built trail network led by JORBA\, and our race director and crew were some of the volunteers who hand built these trails. Racing here feels like coming full circle. Out on course you’ll pass artifacts from the original park including the Otter Slide and the Tiger Pens. On Course GPS NavigationWe’ve invested in technology that notifies you of turns and helps you find your way if you somehow go off course. All registered athletes get full access to RideWithGPS during the event\, so click the link below or in your confirmation email to load every course map and download the free app. We mark the course painstakingly with arrows and tape\, but things get blown down\, so the app is your backup. 2026 Jungle Escape on RideWithGPS Hydration & NutritionThere is an aid station on course\, but we strongly recommend carrying a hydration pack or bottle plus your own nutrition. Aid stations are cupless in keeping with our mission to eliminate waste. The Half Marathon loops through the start/finish\, so you can stage extra hydration and nutrition there. We provide GU gels or chews\, water and GU or Skratch hydration drink. CampingMake a weekend of it. Nearby camping is available at Camp Wyanokie or Wawayanda State Park\, both about 15 minutes from the race site. Book early\, fall weekends fill up. Camp Wyanokie Wawayanda State Park camping Required GearCharged cell phone with the RideWithGPS app pre-loaded (or your app of choice using the GPX file)\, hydration pack or water bottle\, a minimum of 200 calories (gels\, chews\, energy bar)\, and a whistle (most packs include one). VolunteersCommunity events like this simply don’t happen without volunteers. All volunteers get race swag and join us for the post race celebration. We could use help with packet pickup\, sweeping the course and breaking down race gear. Sign up through UltraSignUp or BikeReg\, or email info@rsgadventures.com. Volunteer via UltraSignUp Volunteer via BikeReg Transfers & DeferralsNo refunds\, but we offer transfers and deferrals. Defer your entry for $15 with at least 10 days notice by emailing info@rsgadventures.com. Your deferral credit is good toward any Ready Set Go Adventures cycling event over the next 12 months. Email info@rsgadventures.com Weather & What to WearFall weather at Jungle Habitat varies a lot\, so layers are the key. We’ll have short sleeve and long sleeve technical tees for sale at the event that work great as a base layer (pre-order to guarantee your size). Running tights are a good idea and trail shoes are recommended. Pack a dry change of clothes and shoes so you’re comfortable at the post race party. Rain & Course ConditionsThe event is planned rain or shine. Racing For A Cause We Give Back To West Milford First AidGiving back is part of the Ready Set Go Adventures mission. After a neutral 3-mile roll-out to warm up\, the race horn sends riders into Super Segment 1 at River Road. A 2-mile neutral transfer (including the one-lane Bulls Bridge crossing) separates Segment 1 from Segment 2\, which starts chip-timed on Schaghticoke Road. Results are based on your combined time across both super segments. Mega 29 + 39 mi\, Adventure 8 + 39 mi\, Soul 8 + 14 mi.What are the race categories?Separate Men’s and Women’s fields for each route (Mega\, Adventure\, Soul). Age groups: 19 & Under\, 20 to 29\, 30 to 39\, 40 to 49\, 50 to 59\, 60 to 69\, 70+. We reserve the right to combine age groups where sign-ups are light to keep fields competitive. What kind of bike do I need?A gravel bike with 38 to 40 mm tires (e.g. Panaracer GravelKing SK). Tubeless strongly recommended. Mountain bikes are welcome too. The unpaved sections are a mix of surfaces and can get rocky\, especially on the extra Mega miles. We do not recommend traditional road bikes or slick tires.Aid stations?Stocked aid stations along the course with hydration mix\, water\, GU gels and GU chews. The Outbound Macedonia Brook State Park aid station features fresh pancakes with real maple syrup. Can I transfer my registration?Transfer of registration credit can be made up to 14 days prior to the event for a nominal fee. Log in to BikeReg.com and edit your entry to make a transfer. Can I defer to next year?Race deferral can be made up to 14 days prior to the event for only $20. Your deferral credit can be used towards any RSGA Multisport or Gravel event over the next 12 months. Stay For The People.Jersey Gravel Deux is a Gran Fondo experience that takes you across the renowned unpaved roads of the Bedminster area and flows into the best dirt roads and trails Somerset\, Morris and Hunterdon Counties have to offer. Race the timed segments or simply ride your ride. Between segments\, the clock stops. Regroup with friends\, soak in the scenery\, and refuel at stocked aid stations with pancakes\, real maple syrup\, pierogies and more. Some come to race. Others for the miles\, the roads and the camaraderie. There’s no wrong way to ride Jersey Gravel. Since 2018\, the Jersey Gravel Grinder has brought riders together for one of New Jersey’s signature gravel experiences. Deux is Edition XIII. Choose your distance. Ride it your way. From The Riders“JGGD 2025 – MEGA a wonderful day\, such a well mapped out event. Communication leading up to the event was great. I will continue to go to RSGA events. thank you!” Devin Ryser · Google review\, 5 stars“I recently attended my first Ready Set Go event (Jersey Gravel Grinder deux) and it was FREAKING AWESOME! RSG did a great job in all aspects of organizing and holding the event. The course itself was phenomenal\, a really great mix of road and gravel terrain through some beautiful parts of New Jersey. Aid stations were well stocked and placed perfectly at strategic points along the route.” Dean McCormick · Google review\, 5 starsRegister NowSince 2018Event HistoryFrom humble beginnings with 65 riders\, the event has grown in popularity with hundreds of riders now attending the spring and fall editions. The original spring edition was so well loved that riders kept asking for a second helping of Jersey Gravel in the fall. That is how The Deux was born. Backed by 10+ years of producing endurance events. Deux is Edition XIII. Pick Your RideThree distances\, one finish line party. Every route is 50%-64% unpaved\, fully marked and supported. New To Gravel? You’re Welcome Here. You do not have to be an elite racer to belong at Jersey Gravel Deux. The neutral portions between segments exist so you can recover\, regroup and ride with people\, not away from them. Soul at 35 miles is genuinely approachable for a first gravel event. Adventure at 65 is the sweet spot for most riders who ride regularly. Mega at 100 is the serious challenge if you want one. Aid stations are stocked\, the course is marked\, support is on the road\, and nobody gets left out there. Ride your ride. What bike do I need?Gravel started with a bring what ya got attitude well before dedicated gravel bikes existed. So while a gravel bike is optimal\, feel free to bring a road bike with max width tires\, a hybrid\, a mountain bike or an ebike. We strive to be inclusive and provide a great experience for riders of all types\, abilities and gear. What tire size do you recommend? We recommend at least 38 mm tires. 40-45 mm is even better and gives you a great ride with traction and comfort.Do I need to race the segments?Racing the segments is up to you. It’s fun to sprint and challenge yourself\, but if you want to chill and enjoy that part of the ride that’s fine too.Can I ride with friends?Absolutely. In fact many riders make new riding buddies during our event. Are e-bikes allowed?Yes. Just let us know so we don’t mix your results with the other categories. What happens if I change distances? You can edit your entry in BikeReg to move up or down. If there’s a different cost\, the registration platform will simply charge you the difference. Gran Fondo With Timed SegmentsYour day is scored on the combined time of the timed segments\, not total ride time. Clear signage marks the Approach\, Start and End of each segment\, so you know exactly when to hammer and when to soft-pedal and chat. Racing them is entirely optional. GPS Segment TimingSegment times are captured by GPS through a dedicated timing app that riders will download before race day. We are finalizing the platform now and will post the app details and setup instructions here and by email. Timed segment locations will be shared with registered riders close to the event. Segments are short and punchy\, not long grinds. Marked & MappedArrow signs at every turn plus free access to our RideWithGPS event page with downloadable FIT and GPX files and visual and audio cues.
