XNJ Trail Runs are XTERRA Trail Run World Series events with 232 qualifying slots for the Worlds Championships in Fall 2025.
XNJ Trail Runs are also part of the Way Over Yonder Trail Run Series which also includes April Jungle Escape Runs , June Transcend Trail Runs and July Sterling Forest Awesomeness.
The host site, Wawayanda, State Park is one of the most majestic parks in the Northeast and is only 50 miles from New York City.
Wawayanda is comprised of 34,350 acres and features over 40 miles of trails and a crystal clear 255 acre lake.
You’ll love swimming in the lake and the amazing views while riding your bike and trail running.

Running loop features magnificent views of Wawayanda Lake. Definitely a good challenge dancing through a mix of packed dirt and rocky goodness.
There isn’t a killer climb – all the up hill run sections are short & punchy.
Half Marathon & Marathon loop is a mega loop is the best of both worlds – starts with the Bike loop and feeds right into the 10K Trail Run.
