COURSE DESCRIPTION & MAPS
Running loop features magnificent views as you circle around Wawayanda Lake. Definitely a good challenge dancing through a mix of packed dirt and rocky goodness.
There isn’t a killer climb – all the up hill run sections are short and through rolling hills.
The loop features a great mix of Gravel Roads, Packed Dirt Single Track & a visit into the Heckling Woods.
Run loop for the Sprint is the same one we’ve used for past three seasons for our Wednesday Wonders Sprint Triathlons and is fairly flat and suitable for athletes of all levels.
Half Marathon & Marathon loop is a mega loop is the best of both worlds – starts with the Bike loop and feeds right into the 10K Trail Run.
Runners have asked for more details on the mixed terrain in the 13 mile loop for the Marathon & Half Marathon Trail Runs – So Here’s a handy guide map of what you’ll be experiencing. Click image below to launch PDF.
