USA Triathlon Membership
This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned event. All participants need either an annual USAT membership or a one-day event membership, which can be purchased during registration on TriReg if you don't already have one.
Transfers
Race entries may be transferred to another athlete up until a set deadline before race day, typically for a small transfer fee. Contact info@rsgadventures.com with the details of both athletes to request a transfer.
Deferrals
If you can't make race day, you may be able to defer your entry to next year's event up until a set deadline, typically for a small deferral fee. Contact info@rsgadventures.com to request a deferral.
Weather Policy
This is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe or unsafe weather (lightning, extreme heat, etc.), race organizers may modify, shorten, delay, or in rare cases cancel a race for safety. Entry fees are not refundable due to weather.
How do I qualify for USAT Age Group Nationals?
The top 35% of finishers in each 5-year age group in the Olympic or Sprint Triathlon qualify for the 2027 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships, regardless of what state you're from. Age group is determined by your age as of December 31, 2026.
Is the swim wetsuit legal?
Wetsuit legality follows standard USAT rules based on water temperature on race morning. Wetsuits are typically permitted below 78°F and mandatory below 65°F; official water temperature will be announced at packet pickup and race morning.
