Frosty Woods has become a late-season tradition for both the trail-running and mountain-bike communities. After being held on separate days in recent years, the two races come together at Ringwood State Park in 2026. Each discipline has its own course, schedule and registration page. Trail runners register through UltraSignUp, while mountain bikers register through BikeReg.
Classic Ringwood Terrain
We picked the flowiest trails available, but this is Ringwood after all. Try not to smile as you descend Alligator's rolling singletrack. The courses feature challenging singletrack, rocky terrain and rolling fire roads.

Parking & Venue
- Race parking is at Shepherd Lake Recreation Area, not the Ringwood State Park office
- From Sloatsburg Road, turn onto Morris Road, then turn right onto Shepherd Lake Road and follow it to the race site
- $5 event parking fee per car, please carpool if possible
- Follow event signage to the festival start and finish area
